Annette Lin is a freelance copywriter, copy editor and branding specialist with nearly ten years’ experience writing for lifestyle brands and publications covering high-end travel, design, art, food, fashion, real estate, architecture and culture.

After starting her career as an online news journalist for in Sydney, Australia, she moved to London where she spent time working at the Financial Times’ luxury lifestyle magazine How to Spend It and the Sunday Times, and managing social media and writing travel and style content for luxury fashion boutique Matches Fashion. Looking for a new challenge, she moved to New York, where she wrote product copy, marketing copy, emails, and content for fashion startups Moda Operandi and ADAY. She is currently based out of Mexico City, where she works with design agency Savvy Studios and freelances as a journalist for publications such as Teen Vogue, The Nation and Foreign Policy. She is available for work globally.
